I'm always looking for ways to optimize little things in my life📈. I'm a big believer that positive habits and behaviors can be built from small, incremental changes✅.

Since I spend a lot of time staring at my computer (studying, creating YouTube videos, working on this website etc.) this is one of my big targets for making improvements🎯.

Enter The 20/20/20 Rule, which is a ridiculously quick and easy way to improve how we interact with screens💻📱. Check out the picture below:

The 20/20/20 Rule was created several years ago by an optometrist named Dr. Jeffrey Anshel👓. The purpose of this rule is to combat Digital Eye Strain (sometimes also called Computer Vision Syndrome).

Digital Eye Strain refers to symptoms that can occur with prolonged use of digital electronic devices. These symptoms include headache, blurry vision, dry eyes, and more😵‍💫.

Using The 20/20/20 Rule can prevent or improve these symptoms by reducing eye strain and fatigue. This can help enhance comfort when using screens and increase productivity⬆️. (Side note: it's also great for watching Netflix on long flights like I do😅).
